Sydney spirits festival

Sydney is gearing up for a spectacular event that promises to be a treat for the senses—the inaugural Sydney Spirits Festival.

From May 10-12, 2024, the Overseas Passenger Terminal at Sydney Cove will transform into a haven for spirit enthusiasts and curious connoisseurs alike. With 148 brands on display, the Sydney Spirits Festival is set to become the largest and most diverse gathering of its kind in Australia, showcasing an extraordinary array of spirits that spans the globe.

Spirited away

This festival is not just an event; it’s an odyssey for your taste buds. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore 148 brands featuring whisky, gin, soju, schnapps, rum, agave, vodka, vermouth, grappa, tequila, liqueurs, fortified wines, and more. It’s a tantalising journey into the world of exotic tastes and rare finds.

Meet the masters

The stars of the spirits world will grace the festival, adding a touch of glamour and expertise. Tasmania’s very own Bill Lark, fondly known as the “Godfather of Whisky,” will be present at stand 7, offering samples and signing bottles. Joining the line-up is Gee David from Buffalo Trace Distillery, an American bourbon expert pouring samples of their world-famous bourbon. Mikey Enright of Hickson House will showcase his award-winning gin and whisky, while Ester Spirits, led by Corinna and Felix, will introduce attendees to their innovative negroni styles and new Cane Rum.

Delight in a diverse selection of international cuisines, including Japanese noodles, Mexican tacos, gourmet oysters, and more. For those in need of a break, the Schibello Coffee Café provides a serene spot overlooking Sydney Harbour, offering brandy cannoli and premium coffee.
