Kings Park and Botanic Garden

Fraser Ave, Perth 

Kings Park and Botanic Garden is one of the world’s largest and most stunning inner-city parks, steeped in rich cultural heritage. This park is one of the 7 best dog parks of Perth and is nestled within is the magnificent Western Australian Botanic Garden, showcasing over 3,000 species of the state’s unique flora. Complete with charming cafes, scenic bushland trails, meticulously maintained gardens, and diverse children’s play areas, Kings Park offers the ideal setting for an adventure with your furry friend (leash required, of course)!

Whiteman Park Dog Park

Whiteman Park, 233a Drumpellier Dr, Whiteman 

The Whiteman Park Dog Park is located in the Mussel Pool East precinct at car park 23, fully enclosed with a specially designed obstacle course in colours visible to dogs. It features double-gated entry/exit points for safe leashing/unleashing, ample shade, multiple water stations, and over 500 metres of walking paths within the enclosure. Small dogs under 10kg have their own separate area within. How cool! This dedicated space for dogs is open daily from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm and is free for public use.

Aveley Dog Park

9 Viridian Blvd, Aveley 

At Aveley Dog Park, you’ll find separate zones for small and large dogs. The expansive large dog area offers plenty of room for all breeds to run freely. Meanwhile, the smaller enclosure provides a cozy space for little dogs to play, chase, and socialise with furry friends old and new. Both sections feature agility equipment where your pup can learn new tricks. Shaded areas and water bubblers are available in both zones, ensuring a comfortable retreat for you and your canine companion to cool off on sunny days!

Charles Veryard Reserve

Located in North Perth, Charles Veryard Reserve features floodlit sports grounds and a fully fenced playground. It is an approved dog exercise area where dogs are permitted off-leash in all areas, except when the reserve is used for approved activities such as club sports and community events. During these times, off-leash access is limited to the eastern side of the reserve near Deague Court. Charles Veryard Reserve is a picturesque park featuring a fully-fenced playground and ample shaded areas, ideal for a range of outdoor activities and is perfect to bring your pup along to!

The City of Perth has unveiled the Ozone Dog Agility Park, a brand-new facility in East Perth dedicated to canine agility. This state-of-the-art park is equipped with a variety of agility equipment including jump bars, weave poles, a pyramid ramp, a dog walk, and resting podiums, ensuring endless fun for our furry companions. Additionally, the park offers amenities such as park benches, a water fountain, and a bin complete with a dog waste bag dispenser, catering to both dogs and their owners alike.
