Red Hot Summer Tour is a one-day outdoor festival providing outstanding live entertainment. This year, the show will feature the legendary Jimmy Barnes, as well as The Living End, Birds of Tokyo, Pete Murray, Kasey Chambers and Barnes’ daughter’s band Mahalia Barnes and the Soulmates.

Moruya New Years Day Rodeo is plenty of fun for the whole family! There will be entertainment for all, including live music, sideshows, food stalls and of course rodeo events.

February

Batemans Bay Triathlon Festival & Beach to Bridge Run features four running events – a distance for everyone! Test yourself on the new courses by the beautiful waters of Batemans Bay.

March

Sprint Series Adventure Race is a fun and exciting outdoor event consisting of kayaking, trail running and mountain biking sections using a map and compass only.

Moruya Mardi Gras & Riverlights features a street parade, music in the park, markets, food and fun family games! At dusk illuminated floats appear on the Moruya River.

Broulee Bay to Breakers Ocean Swim is a community event for people with a shared enjoyment of the ocean and fitness.

April

Mirrabooka Showjumping Cup sees some of the best showjumpers in the state compete in more than 30 events.

May

Narooma Oyster Festival. On the first weekend in May, join growers, chefs and shuckers to celebrate the rock oyster on the shores of Wagonga Inlet, Narooma – land of clear, blue water.

Horizon Apartments Narooma Forest Rally showcases the best rally drivers from the East Coast of Australia in the forest surrounding Narooma.

Sculpture for Clyde is a 10-day sculpture event showcasing regional art with coastal features along the beautiful foreshore of Batemans Bay.

June

Surf Lifesaving Inflatable Rescue Boat racing series is an exciting event that gives surf lifesavers the chance to put their rescue skills to the test.

July

Lazer Rally of the Bay promises to be a thrilling event, uniting the love of cars, the beauty of the natural surroundings and the exhilaration of high-speed rallying.

Tilba Festival is a full day of live music, market stalls, an amazing array of food, traditional street games and great entertainment for the kids.

September

River of Art is a 10-day festival showcasing creative folks, as well as makers and growers, through performance & gigs, exhibitions, open studios & workshops. Discover more than 100 events over 10 days and 100 kilometres of inspiring coastline.

Luminous: Celebrate Place is an evening of light, community, projections, music, performance and markets. The historical buildings of Moruya Showground are the perfect canvas to project the brightness and creativity of local and regional artists, complemented with light sculptures, an artisans and gourmet food market, roving performers and a kids zone.

October

Clarkes Gambit. This overnight event is designed for cyclists of all ability levels but will especially cater to families and those wanting to advance their skills, fitness and knowledge in bike-packing and the gravel cycle scene.

 

November

Crank it Up is a three-day music festival celebrating everything from the 50s and 60s including music, cars and fashion.

December

Batemans Bay Caravan, Camping and Leisure Show. Over three big days, this event showcases the latest in caravans, motorhomes, campervans, camper trailers and more.

Bells Carnival. With lots of fun rides, the giant slide, ferris wheel and side show alley, Bells Family Carnival has been delighting families for more than 20 years and is part of the tradition of a summer holiday at the coast.

Broulee Sand Modelling Competition. An institution of summer, this is an annual event and hotly contested.
