Lake Burrendong Holiday Park

A wide, open cattle property in Mudgee, Old Bara is the full country experience. You’ll be camping alongside a beautiful creek, with the option to bring your own kayak or bike for an even better experience. Dogs are very welcome, and allowed off leash in the nearby paddocks. Plus, the friendly hosts are happy to help, and even permit campfires for toasty evenings under the stars.

South West Rocks Holiday Park

The South West Rocks coastline is a treasure trove of stunning beaches and gorgeous lookouts. When staying at the holiday park, you’ll have the option between powered and unpowered sites. Or, for campers wanting a more glamorous experience, you can rest easy in a cabin. Tuck into a meal at the local pub, with outdoor seating for you and your pooch, or check out the walks and trails scattered across the headlands. You can even spend a day exploring the abandoned Trial Bay Gaol, an easy walk from the campground.

At Turon Gates, you can choose between log cabins, glamping tents, and rugged camping options. The property is located in over 6000 acres of bushland, including swimming holes and hiking trails. There’s plenty to see and do, with horse riding and gold panning offered by the hosts. Riverwood Downs

A 750 acre property, Riverwood Downs is for those campers who enjoy the simple pleasures of life. The site includes a spa, bar, and grill, as well as the Hound’s Breath Cafe, which offers its own dog-friendly menu. Their manicured lawns and walking trails are ideal for active dogs to run themselves ragged, while you enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the country.

 

Delicate Campground

Located in Goolawah Regional Park, Delicate Campground provides both beach and caravan camping opportunities. While there, you can participate in many fun activities, including surfing, whale watching, and swimming in the crystal-clear waters. Off-leash beaches and walks are all around, so you won’t have to travel far for a pet-friendly adventure.
