Adelaide Christmas Festival

In Adelaide Square, the impressive 25-meter high Christmas tree is lit up each night as part of a dazzling display. The giant tree contains 13,16 programmable lights, spreading holiday cheer between 8:30pm and 2:30am each night. Throughout the festive season, a roster of live music performances at the tree will keep the celebrations alive, featuring some of Adelaide’s best local talent.

All throughout the city, you’ll find sparkling lights, giant decorations and festive displays. Around 5,000 red and white petunias can be located on all the major CBD streets, while kids will love the trail of giant inflatable santas just waiting to be discovered. Visit Adelaide Central Markets for free school holiday workshops, including cookie decorating and festive crafts.
