Enmore Theatre

Located in Newtown, the Enmore Theatre is Sydney’s oldest and longest running live theatre. It’s also one of two surviving art deco theatres in Sydney, with a unique interior and exterior design. It’s a smaller venue, but packed full of character and spirit, making it one of the most exciting places to see a show.

The State Theatre is one of the most stunning theatres in Sydney, with classic red velvet and gold designs, and great architecture. It has been the home of the Sydney Film Festival since the 1970s, and the festival still holds many screenings here each year. The theatre has also hosted many red carpet premieres in Australia, including Skyfall and Game of Thrones, as well as world class music acts such as Prince, Tina Arena, and Florence and the Machine.
