Each year, in Ningaloo Reef, more than 600 whale sharks return to feed and rest, making it one of the best places to spot these gentle giants in the wild. This area is a dream destination for diving and snorkelling enthusiasts, offering the chance to swim with whale sharks, turtles, manta ray and colourful fish. If you’d rather stay on land, you can explore the vast number of hiking trails in the surrounding national park, or simply relax with a local wine in town.
