Holly Raye’s
Masters of brunch and connoisseurs of high tea, Holly Raye’s can’t make their dog-friendly ethos more obvious than with the giant, doggie street art on the side of their building. The team specialise in celebration layer cakes, which can be ordered for any occasion.
When visiting, you’ll also have the option to indulge in a high tea experience of sweet and savoury treats, paired with bottomless tea and coffee. Or, if you’re short on time, order something from the extensive brunch menu, which includes all your favourites as well as breakfast gnocchi and Turkish eggs. You and your dog will be treated like old friends here!
Finlay and Sons
From ‘cinni buns’ french toast with baked apples and cookie crumbs to a hash brown benny, Finlay and Sons have everything you’ll need to start your day.
The sunny outdoor tables are great for relaxing with your pooch, and there’s also a takeaway window if you’re on the go. Whatever you do, make sure to order a puppacino with your coffee. You may even run into Dina Colada, the cafe’s resident pooch!
Slate Cafe
Slate Cafe is a Perth institution, known for creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for all. As well as serving smooth, delicious coffee and Instagramable food, it is also a haven for families thanks to the indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Those travelling with pups should also check out the enclosed dog playground and large grassed picnic area.

Babylon Cafe
Tucked away in Leederville is the Babylon Cafe. Coffee house, patisserie and flower garden/store, the cafe wears many hats. Chief among them is ‘home of dog-lovers’. With shades, blankets and water bowls on site, our beloved pooches are welcomed in style here at Babylon.
The outdoor seating area is full of flowers and plants, making it the ideal spot to enjoy your coffee. Don’t forget to also try one of the famous toasties, that keep customers coming back time and time again.
Daisies
Cafe, patisserie and deli, Daisies has come a long way from its previous incarnation as a corner delicatessen back in the eighties. Now, it’s one of Perth’s most popular cafes, located under the pine trees of Cottesloe. Dogs are more than welcome and the outdoor dining area boasts plenty of space for pups to stretch out their paws.
Daisies is frequented by locals thanks to its relaxing atmosphere and delicious menu. Choose from sausage rolls, acai bowls, muffins, salads, and of course coffee. Just don’t be surprised when your dog is the star of the show.
Steam Haus
Steam Haus is a home away from home, with a cosy interior and a dedicated kids’ play room filled with toys and games. The menu includes all the brunch classics, as well as loaded croissants and other baked goods. Regular events help you to celebrate the year in style, including Halloween themed drinks and Valentine’s Day roses.
Plus, the staff love dogs and are always happy to meet a new furry friend.
Two Dogs Laughing
As the name of this cafe suggests, Two Dogs Laughing.loves puppies. Here, international flavours and creative recipes combine for a menu like no other. Try classic American pancakes, umami shrimp sambal scrambled eggs, or house made granola. Your dog is always welcome to join, and the owners will most definitely spoil them with a free puppacino.
This November, Two Dogs Laughing is opening a pop up dinner kitchen. The seven-course set menu is inspired by the flavours of South East Asia, including standout dishes such as crocodile spring rolls with pineapple sweet chilli and a whole steamed local fish with Geraldton wax.
Laika
Named after the first animal to orbit the Earth, a space dog called Laika, this cafe is a dog-friendly paradise. The specialty coffee served here is made by the team’s experienced baristas, and it also sells premium roasts from some of the best local and international producers. When dining, you will enjoy an extensive breakfast menu with a few surprises, such as breakfast New York cheesecake and chilli crab scramble.
The spacious venue is also home to a basketball court and open courtyard, with plenty of room for your kids to run around while your dog rests at the table.
On weekends, Laika’s chefs are encouraged to get creative in the pop-up kitchen, resulting in limited-edition menu items that rotate seasonally. Right now, this means Hong Kong style French toast in five mouthwatering flavours. Choose Biscoff and white chocolate with maple, butter and a doughnut glaze, or perhaps bacon jam and parmesan fonduta with bacon, butter, maple and parmesan.
Stomp Coffee
Stomp Coffee is your local small batch roaster, where the beans are ethically sourced and roasted by owner Chris each week. Coffee lovers can sign up for a subscription, where you can choose to have beans shipped to your doorstep weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Stomp even make coffee pods!
If you’re in north Perth, however, we recommend stopping by for a delicious breakfast in the secret garden. The breakfast bagel is always popular, as is the classic ham and cheese toastie with potato chips. Stomp is also a favourite with local dogs, and Friday mornings are known as the ‘unofficial dog club’ for regulars and their furry friends. Make sure to order a puppacino, and expect lots of love for your pooch.
Union Kitchen
While not exactly in Perth, Union Kitchen is an easy 30 minute drive and well worth the trip. Located on the Mindarie Marina, the cafe combines waterfront views with unbeatable dishes for the ultimate brunch experience.
The breakfast menu features all the classics, as well as croque madame, shakshuka and apple pie pancakes, while the lunch menu is best paired with a cold glass of wine or beer. There’s even a dedicated dog menu, so your pup can enjoy a dogs bark-fast, K9 cookie or puppiccino while you tuck in to your own meal.
