Originating in 1955, the Moomba Festival has evolved into one of Australia’s largest and most iconic community festivals. Boasting a colourful parade, the thrilling Birdman Rally, and a plethora of family-friendly activities, Moomba attracts locals and visitors alike. This year features the legendary ABBA tribute band Bjorn Again, in homage to ABBA’s 1977 performance at Moomba.

Melbourne Food and Wine Festival
For foodies and wine connoisseurs, March is the month to savour Melbourne’s culinary delights. The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is a 10-day gastronomic celebration that showcases Melbourne’s culinary landscape over 300 delectable events. From street food markets to exclusive chef’s tables to moveable feasts, journey through the city’s food scene. Their signature events the World’s Longest Lunch and World’s Longest Brunch are back again, as is the Global Dining Series, featuring some of the best chefs from around the world with a stellar line-up of one-off dinners and top-tier residencies at Melbourne’s favourite restaurants.
