In 2023, the Adelaide fireworks returned to Elder Park/ Tarntanya Wama for the first time in four years, drawing a crowd of more than 80,000 people to the riverbank precinct. Bring your kids to the park for family-friendly fireworks at 9pm, and continue the countdown to midnight to experience the Welcome 2025 fireworks with your loved ones.
The Glenelg stage, located on the beach, will be providing entertainment from 6pm onwards. You can also ride the giant ferris wheel, located along the foreshore, for the duration of the holidays.
For even more fun, head to the Dunstan Playhouse. Here, families will enjoy a fenced-off viewing platform for the Elder Park fireworks, as well as food stalls, child-friendly DJs, roving entertainment, a circus workshop and more. Food stalls will provide all the sustenance you’ll need for the long night, with plenty of space for everyone.
